A quick guide to choosing the correct bait for the fish you want
BAY ANCHOVY
Use Bay Anchovies to catch Croaker, Flounder, Red Drum, Sea Bass etc... Good bait for nearly all predatory fish.
BUNKER
Great, oily, year 'round bait. Use for baiting fish such as Flounder, Striper, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, Red Drum, and crab.
CLAM
Good all around bait
EEL
Good for catching a wide variety of fish such as; Cobia, Striper, Red/Black Drum & Bluefish.
MINNOW
Also good for a wide variety of fish. Try using Minnows to catch Flounder, Red Drum & Bluefish.
SQUID
Squid is a good all around bait. Use for just about any fish you might want to catch.
PEELER CRAB

WELK/CONCH
A bit tougher than clam, Welk is good for catching Tataug, blackfish, Sheep's head, Black Sea Bass. Anything that will eat clam, will eat Welk.
